Christmas is Over!! Presents!!!!

I'm happy, does that make me a bad person? I don't care :p We rushed and drove all over to see everyone. I'm glad we did, but this girl is tired! There wasn't anything I had to have and nothing that I really told people to get me. They did a great job of guessing what to get me.

The Loot:
  • Various bakeware. Muffin pans, bundt pans, cookie sheets, cake dome, covered casserole dish, Ikea deep sized cupcake pan I've never seen before!
  • New Alarm clock!!! (I still don't know how to use the old one, 1.5 years later)
  • Gift Cards :)
  • $$
  • Snowflake bracelet (picture soon)
  • Taste of Home Cookbook
  • Kitchenaid hand mixer (with accessories)
 via
  •  Custom made Granite Cutting boards (long story)
  • Deep Fryer
  • Clothes
  • Tickets to events over the next 3 months :)
I'm sure there was more, but those were the major ones. Did you get what you wanted?
I strongly believe that Christmas is for the kids. So here's my cutie niece opening her presents. Obviously, she got beyond spoiled, but I enjoyed myself.
We started with trying to occupy her with decorating cookies...
Then we decided one present wouldn't hurt.
It turned into a hurricane in the living room.
Present from her daddy :) (it says Daddy's Princess)
My Aunt had these made for us. I love them and am going to keep them out all winter long :) (Where the white is, was our names)
I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe holiday!

100TH POST! Do I really have that much to say?

I can't believe I've made it to 100 posts!!! I'm surprised I've had that much to say. Like my mom says, I'd talk to a brick wall if I thought it was listening :) Well good news first, I got in 2 out of 3 of my classes for winter semester!! While other people are camped out at home because of snow on the ground I will be spending 12 hours a week at my local college baking and cooking and studying.
It will interfere with my work schedule, but I've been trying to get in these classes for 1.5 years. Hopefully we are able to work something out.
So, I'm starting my birthday/Christmas list :) Since my birthday is close to Christmas the list sort of gets squished together. I have a few people to past this along to :) Finally a year, when I don't need much!

2. New Haircut with Color/Highlights
3. Massage
4. Engagement Ring

5. Vacation

6. Kitchen Tools

7. Maid Service :)

Ok, so some of the things on my list are pretty over the top, but I have alot of what I want or need. And this is just ideas. I'm pretty much open to anything, just include a gift receipt :)
Look for my book review later today on Glass that I finished last night. Those books are addicting!

The Holidays :(

I love the holidays as much as the next person, but I'm not ready for them yet :(
I have recipes to find (and try). Weight to lose, gifts to buy, cards to write (and send), decorations to hang, cleaning to do :( Since Mr. P works crazy hours (and more around xmas time) I will have to do most of it on my own. Since my parents are split, we have to evenly distribute holidays between 3 families so that means 3 Thanksgiving dinners, and double booking Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I spend so much time driving over the holidays I end up upset. Any tips?
I've tried to limit visits but then someone ends up mad that you didn't show up. I'm a people pleaser so I never feel right saying NO.
Oh and did I mention my birthday is in there too? I can't wait until January already.
