I've had better....
Days! You dirty minds, lol. My day has started out sort of blah. Well last night ended sort of bad and carried over to this morning. I know I'm pushing it out of proportion, but I don't feel like I was in the wrong! It's hard to explain and I don't wanna make Mr. P look bad, but I am not happy with him right now and it's totally affecting my whole day :( so I'm gonna pout and hope my day starts getting better. Maybe something will inspire me to write a happy uplifting post today. Maybe?

Restful Weekend and Check out my PURSE!
My weekend was very relaxed and finally gave me some time to just breathe. Mr. P and I watched Date Night on Friday after work. He kept saying how that was going to be us in about 6 years, hahaha. Tina Fey was alot like me, with the glasses and bumping into everything. Definitely a movie we will buy :)
Saturday we took the one of the neighbor boys to his hockey practice and watched that for an hour. It was pretty cool (and free) entertainment. He is one of the better kids on the team and kinda nice to cheer him on.
Mr. P decided to take me shopping for a new purse. I could not love that man any more than I did when he said that, LOL. We went to Girbralter which is like a huge shopping mall/flea market/idk. They sell everything and have tons of fake knockoffs. Mr. P knows I won't spend over $50 for a purse. I just can't justify it. So we shopped for about 2 hours (not just for the purse) but it was the only thing we actually bought. Drum roll please???
We went home, cuddled and watched The Expendables, which was totally blah for me :( I was really disappointed. In my head Jason Statham looks like Mr. P (mostly I think it's they are both bald and skinny). Fell asleep early, I was up by 730 and got coffee and the coupons and spent almost all of the day outside with the pups. I did manage to find a cute outfit for mercedes :)
I'm also starting to plan Cookie's 2nd birthday for about a month from now. I'm looking at getting baked goods (doggy approved) and having her dog friends over for a few hours. I got the idea from Attention 2 Detail (check out the pawty! hehehe) and can't wait to try out some of her ideas. I wish I could hire her or someone like her to do mine, but I'm slightly strapped for cash to hire an event planner for my dog's birthday. I bought some clearance plastic planters that I'm going to decorate with ribbon to showcase the treats in. I also bought plates, tablecloths and a few bowls. So far, I think I've spent about $10. I figure $40 for the treats and I'm making all the people food myself.

TGIF, I Think?
Well my procedure went well yesterday. It seriously took 5 minutes and then I had to lay down for 10 minutes afterwards. Then I got to go home. I think I made it into a much bigger problem than it actually was. There is alot of follow-up care. I'm having super horrible cramps, but I dragged my butt into work and I'm doing ok. I may only work a half day and take a long nap this afternoon. I'm still trying to figure out how much I feel like doing actual work today :P
Mr. P was pretty good at the dr office. He did ask the dr. a question so the dr. made him watch the whole procedure. We decided last night, when I have the babies Mr. P is staying by my face, LOL. I have nothing scheduled for the entire weekend although I have a couple errands that need to get done. The dogs need their special dog food, my library books have to be returned and I need to finish grocery shopping. There's a girls night I think I'm going to skip. I'm not in a great mood to be doing jello shots and I want to spend some time with my other half. I've really been missing him lately.

Countdown to "That Time"
In less than 2.5 hours I will be in my OB/GYN's office, feet in stirrups waiting for my cells to be frozen and scraped :( I am not looking forward to this "procedure" at all. I've been dreading it for 1.5 weeks and wish I could take a sleeping pill or they could knock me out for the 10 minutes it takes to have this done. Mr. P has taken an extended lunch to go with me, after I practically begged him to come.
I have no other real news to report at the moment.
We had bbq chicken legs for dinner watched the movie "The Joneses". It had Demi Moore and David D (from X-Files). I loved their house and every one of their cars. It made me want their jobs. It was funny, predictable with a message about material things. Then we watched "The New Daughter" with Kevin Costner. I fell asleep, but for the record he is looking O-L-D. I remember watching Waterworld on VHS, LOL.

New Purse Color?
So the lovely Mr. P has taken it upon himself to deem my purse so last season. He said it's time to move on and find something else. I change my purse almost as much as my shoes, but over the weekend, I rocked the pink bag everywhere we went and I guess it overstayed it's welcome :( I have 4 similar black purses (hobo style) that I go back and forth between. Mr. P told me black isn't "in" during the fall. I just bough a brown bag that is now being called the indiana jones purse.
So, I looked online and found a few I like....What's a good fall purse color? I like the brown purses, but any other colors I should look for? Overstock.com has awesome deals on purses and turns out I love Nine West purses :)
I want to buy them all :)

Happy Hump Day! - Funny Story
Ok, so yesterday I had to work and it being the first day back after a 3 day weekend, it was long and I was cranky to say the least. I got out of work and headed home, but got a text from one of the girls about going to a softball game. MY friend, Dora (the explorer we call her), bless her heart, online dates ALOT!
I am all for online dating, I met my bf online (myspace, but it all worked out in the end). Anyways, she texts me that the game is at 730 so she'll be over at 7 to pick me up. So I decided I needed to dye my hair (already bought the dye last week). I went from blonde to red?!?!?! The box was brown, no idea where the red came from :( I'm so bummed.
Anyways, she shows up and we leave figuring half an hour is enough time to grab some fast food and get to the field. She's texting this guy back and forth the entire time we are on our way there. He told us field 1 @ 730. When we get there, the game was already started. He didn't give us a team name and all we had to go on was a picture from his online dating profile. So based on stats 5'10" 200 lbs, blonde hair, we are trying to figure out which team he's on and which guy he is. We narrowed it down to about 3 guys when he texts her if we are there yet....he's the third baseman in the black shirt. Problem is, the third baseman has a gray shirt on....Are we on the wrong field?
So we start walking and find out there are 11 fields!?!?! So we go to field 2 cuz one team is wearing black shirts. So we hang around third base waiting for the black team to be on the field. Third baseman looks nothing like his profile picture.....Hmmm, we run into a girl that Dora works with and she goes up to the team and asks who their third baseman is and they same "Timmy". Nope, we are looking for a Joe. So, she texts him again and he says, "I'm on field 1". So we walk back to field 1 and gray shirt guy is there and no one is texting from the field. So then we start thinking maybe he's saying field 11. Either that or he's color blind.
Then I ask her, wait did you ask him what park to go to? LOL, seriously! We are at the completely wrong park. There is a baseball field not even 3 miles from my house. We went 15 miles to the wrong park! lol, I love her to death but BLONDE MOMENT!!! So she texts him how blonde she is, not to move and drags me to the car. We get to the next baseball park and go to field 1. Once again, we can not find this guy. So she texts him and asks if he is still there. He says yeah I'm in the dugout. And he stays in there, with these two texting until the game ends.
We go way out of our way to see this guy play and he spends the entire time in the dugout texting her. Then when the game is over he comes out, they talk for maybe 2 mins. and we leave. We get in the car and she can't believe how awkward it was, umm yeah. So she drops me off at home (3 minutes later) and texts me when she gets home that Joe had texted her about how cute she is and thanks her for coming out to see him. How weird, he said like 3 things to her in person but texts her no problem. Maybe he's shy? I don't miss that part of dating at all!

I heart long weekends!!!
Oh my weekend was wonderful but not long enough! I did a ton of things that needed to get done. Although, it seemed as though everyone was going on an amazing vacation, me and Mr. P spent the weekend at home with the dogs. We had a lot of fun and I caught up on some missing sleep :)
Friday night we had a BBQ, but not after a kitchen disaster. Mr. P was trying to "clean" the kitchen and ended up clogging the garbage disposal. So we didn't end up starting to grill until 7 (company arrived at 6:30) so not too far behind I guess. We had marinated chicken, salad, grilled corn and mashed potatoes. They brought a blondie brownie cake, OMG seriously delish! Covered in chocolate frosting and caramel. It was beyond amazing and my indulgence over the weekend :(
Saturday we did hard core cleaning, ALL DAY. We did like 7 loads of laundry, we mopped, we wiped, we swept, we organized. I'm not a get into it cleaner. I like to do little things, but Mr. P likes to do thorough cleanings all at once. I took a 2 hour nap :) it was pure bliss snuggling into the blankets with the dogs.
Sunday, Mr P and I spent most of the day together. He went to his dads and then called me to bring over the dogs and we had lunch over there. Then his dad and brother came over to look at the lawnmower. So I took the time to go grocery shopping. I came back and all fixed :) My back was hurting so bad I had to take some pain meds. The bf thinks it's our bed :( so he has been bugging me to come to his work and check out new ones. We also need a new stove :( which he also sells. Its gonna be a huge bill when we purchase these, but we need both of them and don't have much of a choice. Anyways, after the grocery store we went to every store imaginable. We needed car mats for my car and a blanket for the bed, but not a whole bed set because we are thinking of going from a Queen to a King. I'm completely undecided on getting the King, I love cuddling and the room is technically too small for a king, but now that we have 2 dogs that hog the bed it would be nice to have more space...Anyways, he took me shopping for 6 hours! Such a rarity at our house, I took advantage! After a long day of shopping we had a bonfire in the backyard with the dogs! The neighbors came over for a little while and that was a pretty relaxed night.
Yesterday he had to work, so I read a book :) Bikini Season by Sheila Roberts, a good read for the summer and to give you a boost of self confidence about dieting. And shopped some more on my own.
Just a single trip to walmart where I bought a bunch of stuff I probably don't need, but will use and a new book! The book is called Just Breathe. I'm on chapter 3 and her husband has cheated on her, she's done 12 months of artificial insemination and she's a comic strip writer. That's all I know so far.
Anyways, the bf took me on a date to the dollar theater :) I love it there, it was actually pretty full. We saw Grown-Ups with Adam Sandler. It was pretty funny and Mr. P kept saying it reminded him of himself, lol. I enjoyed it, not sure why it got such horrible reviews.
We came home and I baked some chicken, nuked some veggies, also ate salad (I bought a container and we had some at every meal this weekend) and some italian bread. Mr. P bbq'd almost every other meal for the entire weekend. I made the break apart snickerdoodle cookies and brought them into work. Otherwise I focused on sides, eating and not getting too fat!
The dogs were very good this weekend. We stayed home mostly but they were outside a lot and barely had to go in their cages other than the shopping extravaganza. Cookie has been sort of very mellow. No news about anything happening to her so that part is good. We may have to pay a fine and she is def going into obedience class. I also have to introduce her as a "biter" around new people :( I'd rather that, than her actually bite someone so fair compromise I guess :/
Now I have to get all caught up on everyone else's blogs! Hope everyone had a great weekend, now I will find out!
P.S. Side note I'm on a hunt for a fall bag. Mr. P tried to pick one out for me and he has interesting taste we'll say for now. LOL I don't know what I want but def not black. I have 4 just in my hall closet at this moment. I have a cute brown one but I don't wear enough brown. What's a good fall bag color?

Boost My Blog Hop "Bad Dog"
Yay!!! Friday Blog Hop :) I'm all up for new friends
So a few days ago there was an incident with Cookie and Mr. P's aunt. We were visiting at grandma's house and took the dogs. Cookie is our baby and always just so happy to do anything that doesn't involve her crate. We were all on the back porch when the front door opened and Cookie took off barking. Grandpa got up to see who was there and Cookie came back to the porch, ears back, tail between her legs and very submissive. His aunt refused to come back in the house. Cookie had bit his aunt! Not hard, but enough to puncture the skin.
Cookie is the sweetest dog and is never mean, but can be possessive or protective. There was one incident about 6 months ago when she got lose and the neighbor chased her with a fly swatter and bit the neighbor. A police report was made, Cookie was quarantined and everything was fine, until this week. Now I understand, the aunt asked us if Cookie had her shots and then told us the dog needs to be put down. The bf and I are completely stunned. She was guarding her territory and Cookie, shouldn't have bit someone, but she's not a bad dog!
Of course the family has now taken sides. Her side (including grandma) says to put the dog down and how it can kill babies! Ok, this is extreme. Cookie is around my godson at least 2 weeks out of the month and my niece once a month and shows no aggression at all. Mr. P's dad, said it's isolated and to get Cookie into obedience classes and to stop taking her to other people's houses.
I understand both sides, but if you knew the dog, she is a cute cuddly dog and I think she only bites based on people! I'm not fond of his aunt, or the neighbor and glad Cookie has the balls to bite! JK about the last part, I wish she would just bark when a person just walked into a house and not harm someone. Cookie has met Mr. P's aunt maybe once as a puppy and that's it. She probably smelled like dogs from being at her son's house all day, but still, Cookie was wrong, but not enough to be put down. I don't know. Any thoughts? I promise not to get any more upset. Do you think it's right his aunt report her own nephew to the police and make a report? Just seeing what you think...

Should We "Try"?
Sorry to be such a downer lately, but my Dr. called me last night. Turns out I have pre-cancerous cells and will need to have them frozen next week and removed :/ It's a fairly easy procedure, but still scary since I'm so young and it involves my reproductive parts. Since all of this has begun, I am going to talk to Mr. P about trying to get pregnant. He knows how important it is for me to have kids and my birthday is coming up and with my past, I'd like to get started. I know I'm not finished with school, but I will work and continue to go to school when I can.
I know I'm not like other girls my age, I've been married, I've been pregnant. I know what I want out of life. I want to be a mom. I want to take care of another life and wake up at 3am to feed him/her. I want him to come to me with scraped knees and allow me to kiss the pain away. I want to be responsible for another human life. When I was growing up and people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I always answered, "A mommy". The person would laugh and say "No, what do you want your JOB to be?" I didn't understand until about 3rd grade that most moms worked a job too. I just want to be a mom, that to me, is the most fulfilling career choice for a woman.
My friends tell me, I should've been raised in the 1950s because that is my mind set. I don't mind cooking and cleaning and I like catering to my man's needs, it has never bothered me, until I started working. Then he had to start fending for himself because I was working 30+ hours a week and going to school another 12 hours, plus homework. That doesn't leave a ton of time to run the house, but I do it.
Another thing to think of is we aren't married. Sure, we have the rings, but we don't have the piece of paper stating we are husband and wife. We've had some bumps along the road, but nothing we haven't been able to work out. I know it's important to him though. My point is, I don't want to wait anymore to start trying to have kids. I've put it off, for when I finish school (which is another 1-1.5 years) or until he switches jobs or gets settled more in his job now. We could do it and I'm getting impatient waiting until the time is "just right". I don't feel like it's going to be. I think he is planning on proposing in the next year (he has said he wants to) and then a wedding would probably take place in 1-2 years after that. Its not important to me that we have a piece of paper, what's important to me is how much we love our child.
I would like to have this all figured out by my procedure next week because my doctor is either going to put me on fertility medication or birth control to treat the cysts. So either we are trying or not all. Some options huh?

I love FALL!
Fall is my favorite season, especially since I live here in Michigan. It doesn't last long, because it starts snowing in the beginning of November some years, but the end of September through October I love! Taking photos of the trees when the leaves are just changing pictures is breath-taking.
I also try going to local high school football games. It's fun to sit in the stands and go on a "date".
Bonus, wearing all the hoodies from high school in my closet with comfy jeans and sneakers! Also, buying boots for the fall!
Going apple picking and then drinking hot apple cider :)
Dressing up for halloween (we are still getting ideas) and carving pumpkins!
This is definitely my favorite part of the year :)

Wasted Wednesday
I feel so sluggish today. Maybe I took too long to drink my coffee? I've been getting enough sleep lately, but I still wake up tired :( Mr. P wants to get a new mattress, so maybe that would help. I think I am a little on edge about my results at the doctor that I probably won't know until next week, since this is a holiday weekend.
I'm still trying to finish my book, so I would like to get that finished this weekend too. So what should be a relaxing weekend is now super busy. I'd like to do some retail therapy, but I haven't felt like doing much of that either :/ I'm hoping it's just pms and my mood turns around quickly. I think I will research my weekend menus and maybe get some work done :)
